Peter Jones
Director
Peter took ownership of Ashley Press in 2011, although he joined the family business in 1992 aged 18, working for his Dad, Martin. He completed a Reprographics Course at London College of Printing and has 34 years of printing and design experience. Peter is your first point of call for all printing enquiries and quotes. Sam Elliott
Graphic Designer
Sam is our wonderful Graphic Designer. She has been an integral part of the business since 2010 when she joined us a freelance designer, then becoming a permanent part of the team in 2012 after returning from maternity leave. Sam has a BA (Hons) in Illustration and has over 20 years in the graphic design and print industry. Charlie Fry
Print Manager
In 2013, Peter made the decision to recruit an apprentice to the team and shortly after his 16th Birthday, Charlie began to learn the printing trade. Over the past 13 years, Charlie has developed his knowledge and expertise in all areas of digital printing and has earned the title of Print Manager, overseeing the running of the the digital presses and also print finishing. Martin Jones
Print Finisher
Martin is the second generation of the Jones family to own the Ashley Press and has been working here since 1964. Despite his son Peter taking over ownership of the business in 2011, Martin continued to print and although he is now semi retired (following in the footsteps of his parents before him) is still a fundamental member of the Ashley Press team ensuring that your printing jobs are finished to the highest standard.
Chris Armes
Print Finisher
Chris' career in the industry started in 1976, when he completed a 4 year apprenticeship in letterpress printing. During his 20 years of service at Dolphin Print, he was responsible for the running of 5 colour litho print presses until its closure in 2009, when he started his own business supplying print to trade. Chris joined the team in 2024 and works alongside Martin, ensuring the highest level of quality in our print finishing department.
Gemma O'Nions
Office Administrator
Gemma is currently on maternity leave and returns to work in September 2026, having welcomed a beautiful new addition to her family earlier in the year. She has worked in the print and design industry for 10 years, with a career spanning print finishing, sales and administration. Gemma looks after the day to day running of the office and ensures the seamless processing of your job from start to finish.
Kirstie Jones
Creative Director
Kirstie is Peter's wife and has recently returned to the Ashley Press, leaving behind her Team Leader role within the NHS. She has previously worked as part of the Ashley Press team, managing the accounts, but has this time taken on a role supporting Peter in the day to day management of the business, in particular focusing on social media and marketing. Chester
Customer Relations
Chester has been 'working' at the Ashley Press since 2019 and loves to meet all of our customers! He would love you to pop in and say hello, his working hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday although he would like to point out that he can be flexible, if there is an offer of a belly rub or a treat or two!
