1. We've been a family printing business since 1932, and our legacy is important to us - not just in terms of heritage, but also our environmental impact. We're minimising our carbon footprint by running an electric car, installing solar panels, recycling, selecting environmentally accredited materials and maintaining a long standing partnership with the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture Scheme.

  1. Our guiding principles are:

    • To ensure we comply with existing and future environmental legislation
    • To only use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or PEFC accredited paper and boards
    • To minimise, re-use and recycle all materials when practical
    • To continually revaluate our methods of work and the range of materials and consumables we use.
    • To invest in more environmentally efficient equipment when possible.

    Did you know?

Paper used within our business contributes to native woodland being restored in the UK.

In a single quarter, our contribution alone can renew an average of 50 square metres of woodland.

Our participation in the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture scheme also allows you to use their logo on your print.

This comes at no cost to you, to show your own customers that you’re also committed to lessening your impact.

So what have we done so far?

    • Partnered with the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture Scheme. You can read more about the scheme here.
    • Installed solar panels and changed all our lighting to LED.
    • Invested in an electric vehicle for deliveries and client meetings.
    • Ensured wastepaper is collected regularly and recycled.
    • Recycled our press consumables where possible.
    • Reused and returned wooden pallets.
    • Repurposed our paper wrapping and any void fill instead of using bubble wrap.
    • Packaged our deliveries in fully recyclable materials - these can be returned to us for reuse.
